About Me

Jaida Leilani Foreman is a multidisciplinary performer, writer, and healer born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. They have been performing since 2001, beginning with ballet recitals and church choir before evolving into dynamic work across stage and screen.

A proud graduate of the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS), Jaida earned the title of Salutatorian in 2015. They went on to complete the Integrated Musical Theater program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), graduating with a 3.5 GPA and a sharpened craft rooted in discipline, authenticity, and artistic integrity.

Jaida recently starred in Cymbeline (dir. Valerie Peter Chong) with Hamlet Isn’t Dead, which ran from May 22 to June 1, 2025. Earlier this spring, they performed in For Bard’s Sake: Shrew You (dir. Nick Stokes), also with Hamlet Isn’t Dead. They also wrapped filming the short film FLOSSY (dir. Kendra Dennis) in April 2025, portraying the lead role in a bold and emotionally rich performance.

In addition to their work in theater and film, Jaida is a passionate songwriter whose music blends storytelling with soul. Inspired by the sounds of Alicia Keys, Fantasia Barrino, and Broadway, Jaida creates an eclectic experience in their music as an homage to their hometown of NYC—the city of dreams.

Beyond the stage and studio, Jaida is the founder of HeavenlyFlowerHealing, a spiritual collective dedicated to community healing through art and ancestral wisdom. They’ve curated and hosted their own performance events and have featured as a spoken word artist at open mics across NYC.

Jaida is passionate about telling stories that center liberation, love, and legacy—and is always looking forward to what magic comes next!
